Hotelga is the most relevant Argentine annual event in the hotel and restaurant industries for the promotion of equipment, products and trade services.
This year, Hotelga has been completed renovated, sporting a new format focusing on new trends and opportunities in the sector.
The trade show is scheduled to be held from September 4 to 7 in the fair venue of La Rural, Predio Ferial de Buenos Aires.
The XI International Equipment, Products and Services Fair for the Gastronomy and Hostelry Industry is sponsored by the Asociación de Hoteles de Turismo de la República Argentina (AHT), the FederaciónEmpresaria lHotelera Gastronómica de la República Argentina (FEHGRA) and Ferias Argentinas.
Hotelga is considered by tourism professionals and restaurateurs as the exhibition par excellence to promote Argentina’s tourism offer.
Said event encourages the exchange of knowledge relating to emerging trends and innovative products and services. Attendees can establish new contacts and conduct networking with the estimated 25,000 visitors that participate year after year in this monumental event.
The fair welcomed 286 exhibitors from around the country and abroad in 2012. Out of the 26,855 professionals in the field that attended the event, 58% closed a business transaction as a result of their visit.
Technological innovations were the highlight of the event, with a focus on the unveiling of new equipment, products and state-of-the-art projects pertaining to the hotel and culinary sectors.

Faithful to its tradition, the organizers will host two side events, the Hoteles + Verdes contest and the Torneo Nacional de Chefs.
A national contest which presents an accolade for the “Best Hotel Sustainability Project in Argentina for the year 2013”. The award looks to recognize the most pioneering environmentally-friendly hotel projects.

TorneoNacional de Chefs
Under the slogan “In the quest of the Argentine menu”, this tournament invites professionals in the area to participate by way of a complete four step menu.
The tourney consists of the preparation of three complete menus in a three hour period. Participants will be judged and recognized by national and international embassies, hotels and restaurants.
